Although The Blue Clinic is comprised of out-of-network providers, we believe it is important patients understand how their insurance can assist them in covering mental health costs from out-of-network providers.
The Blue Clinic provides courtesy out of network billing to assist patients who want to use their out-of-network insurance contribution towards our fees.
Patients using insurance also choose to file their insurance claims independently and The Blue Clinic provides a super bill.
All patients are responsible for paying the full fee for their session. Once the patient meets their insurance deductible, the insurance company will reimburse a portion of the cost directly to the patient depending on the stipulations of their plan. The Blue Clinic will provide patients with an estimate of the reimbursement amount they may expect to receive from their insurance company. However, these estimates are ultimately based on the patient’s insurance policy and may be subject to an allowed amount.
