Diagnosis and Treatment plans
The Blue Clinic has significant experience with testing and assessment. If you or your child is struggling with Attention and Focus and/or academic challenges testing may be a great support.
It may also be helpful if you have been working with a therapist or psychiatrist and need some assistance with diagnosis to help with appropriate treatment interventions.
There are three steps involved in the assessment process:
01. INTAKE EVALUATION.
The Assessment begins with an intake evaluation in which a skilled Psychologist explores symptoms, symptom history, past treatment/interventions, discusses hypotheses, the assessment process, and estimated testing hours.
02. TESTING
The Blue Clinic’s clinicians utilize current assessment instruments and updated technology to objectively evaluate the psychological and/or neuropsychological problems. The specific hours involved in testing depend on the presenting concerns and symptoms.
03. FEEDBACK SESSION
Once the testing is completed, the Psychologist will score the assessments and carefully develop a data inform report that details their expert conclusions. During the feedback session, the clinician provides the individual and/or family with an easy to understand report of findings, discusses the results in an interactive process, and provides recommendations on how to proceed.
